The “Mr. Tv Head” Series is loosely based on topics I was covering during my senior project in college. In that project, I was using retro electronics to explore the disconnect I felt with my family and my identity. It explored that disconnect from a young age to now, so you see the use of 8mm film all the way to modern streaming methods. During this project, a love for these retro formats spawned inside of me. So in the series, you will see recurring themes of older film formats and electronic along with exploring topics of mental health.
